Trail masters are the core of our eco-craft trail advocacy and practices.
These trained volunteers can be further categorized into crew leader, apprentice, trail master and senior trail master, with field work hours and core abilities being some of the factors in terms of advancement. Based on the trail's classification and the participants, we have a policy for how many different levels of trail masters are required. After all, "A crew leader's responsibility lies in ensuring volunteer safety and the quality of the work".
